Andrea Vicari is the founder and managing partner of Vicari Avvocati.
He is a leading expert on trust law, further specialized in wealth structuring, litigation on trust and succession matters, family wealth regimes, asset protection, and all legal aspects related to private wealth.
He has been appointed by Republic of San Marino as one of the two drafters of the trust law and fiduciary trust law, of the law establishing the Court for Trusts, and of the company law currently in force. He is the President of the Court for Trusts and Fiduciary Relationships of the Republic of San Marino.
He is the author of several books, publications, and articles published in Italy and abroad.
Andrea holds bachelors both in law and economics, and earned a PhD in Comparative Law (DCL). He completed his studies in the United States (Harvard University and Cornell University), where he specialized in international tax law and obtained a second doctoral degree in law (JSD).
Andrea advises private clients, international families, trust companies, family offices, and international banks.
His academic background and professional experience enable him to handle cases that bridge civil law and common law, in English, French, and Italian.
He is a member of STEP and the International Academy of Trust and Estate Law.
He has practiced law in several jurisdictions and is currently registered with the Milan Bar Association.
